We, the Greater Ardoyne Residents Collective (G.A.R.C.) appeal to everyone, particularly the youth to refrain from any acts of violence as it will achieve nothing only untold hurt and misery and should not be allowed by our opponents and the media to deflect attention away from the core issue of unwelcome acts of bigotry through our community. We must ensure that our protest is peaceful and dignified.
